Tram ride to the TOP of Lone Peak - 11,166 Feet

At Big Sky Stan bought us tickets to ride the Tram to the Top of Lone Peak - 11,166 feet!  It was cloudy and overcast but only sprinkled with rain.  This is the Safari Truck that drove from the top of the first ski lift - to the bottom of the tram ride .... Dad says about 2 miles - fun!
This is the ski lift that we rode first - one of the first ones built there ... you can see Lone Peak in the background - Dad was a little nervous what with Isaac's accident and all.
Can you see how he is hugging the back of the seat?  The guide forgot to tell us to pull the safety bar down over our heads!  I leaned out to take a picture and Dad was telling me not to do that!
That's the 'road' we drove on between the lift and the tram - kind of scarry!
Tram coming up as we were preparing to go down...began raining a little and the guide said we get a free car wash on the way down!
Two old people by the Tram!
The white dots over by the cliffs are mountain goats - Dad spotted them before the guide did!
We noticed this interesting thistle plant - high altitude plant I guess.  It was a great adventure - pretty scenery and fun ride!
