Spokane Temple and Ellensburg

We planned to do a session at the Spokane Temple ... we made an appointment at 10:15 - but we arrived at 9:00 .. it is a small temple and they didn't have room for us that early.  We decided to keep on driving and attend the Boise Temple on the end of our road trip.  Pretty picture, huh?  Notice the cat in the background!!
We drove to Wenatchee to pick tomatoes from the Fromm's garden!  and pick up the inflatable raft they are giving to Thia - Stan will take care of it for her for a few years! Here Dad is putting it in the back of the truck.
Next we drove to Ellensburg - we called Caron Lange VanOrman (Heidi's high school friend) and met her and her daughter at the Fairgrounds - anyone remember this?

Clara VanOrman was riding her horse in a 4-H horse show - so we stayed to watch her.  Dad really liked the pinto pony in the middle of this picture - it had one blue eye and one brown one!!
This is Clara and her horse, Matrix - she rode very well.
We visited our old houses - this is the Radio Road one that Prathers own - we knocked on the door but no one was home.  Pretty much the same - but they've cut down the big trees in the backyard and built a fence... no more shooting beebees at Vantage highway, Stan and Kurt!
This is the new church building - haven't the trees grown big in 30 years?  Remember the city council deciding that the steeple couldn't be on top of the building?  too tall for airplanes!!  so it is still on the ground - pretty silly.
This is our Table Mountain house - we brought Sam home to this one - they have made the carport a garage - we know it was a carport because I drove in with bikes on top of the van and Dad did the same with our big Christmas tree!!!

When we lived on Table Mountain Drive!
