Six cousins! Kara, Polly, Anne, Marcus, Mike - groom to be - Danielle, and Cody. It was fun to have the cousins remember fun times in the past. Dede remembered being about 10 years old and Polly was living in Salt Lake - attending LDS Business School - I think. Brad and DeAnn went somewhere and Polly tended them for the week. She drove their big boat of a car - and hit a pole! Then she insisted Dede eat the alphabet soup she fixed for dinner - Dede said she still doesn't like alphabet soup!
Brad came over at the end of the shower and said - all my sisters are here! Our 'little' brother - fun times.
Talking and talking and talking! Cody came up and gave me a big hug - telling me - You look like Granny! He then told us about when he was taking his Dad's truck at night while Brad was at work. Brad noticed the gas was lower and the mileage was higher!! Cody came home and pushed the button to raise the garage door ... and there stood his Dad! We asked what did you do? He said - lowered the garage door!! Didn't help much!
This is the cute apron Sue had for the little girls to draw flowers on - then she gave to Dede.
Ashlyn and Jace at the bead corner - the little ones made bracelets with the pipe cleaners - really fun. Ashlyn made one for each of us - sweet girl.
DeAnn's mother - Donna Green, has been with them for the summer and will stay through the wedding Sept. 10th. Here are the pretty Green - Smith - Brewster women!! It was a lovely afternoon. Dede received some wonderful gifts and everyone had a great time.
