Joel's eleventh birthday celebration began a day early on Sunday, Dec. `14th at our house. Here he is with his gifts from us - Dad gave him the neat back pack - he will need it for Scouts next year.
The Right to Bear Arms - Montana Style!
He picked out the Aggie fabric and I made a blanket - fleece on one side - cotton on the other. He told me he wrapped up in the blanket and read his new book last night.
Katie reserved two lanes at the ISU bowling alley for Joel's friends party. The boys had a good time.
Joel's birthday cake....thanks Costco - very yummy!
The first ball Joel bowled at his birthday party - he got a strike!!! awesome!
Friends - the little guy in front is the quarterback on their recess football team - Kate said he does well! Kaden Stones is in the back row in a red shirt - Dad's 2nd cousins son.
After bowling the boys wanted to go to the arcade right next door - Kate gave them all a dollar and they had a good time. The games are only a quarter...remember this is Pocatello!
Joel opening presents - two kids gave him 10 dollars each!
We finished off the birthday celebration with a family dinner at Pizza Pie Cafe - Joel's choice. Because it was his birthday - Pizza Pie Cafe gave Joel a 'chocolate monster' too bad I didn't think to get a picture of it before it was almost gone! We all helped Joel eat it.
Happy 11th Birthday Joel - loved all the parties!
