On Dad's birthday he wanted to drive to Grace, ID - we had never been there and he took his fishing pole! On the way we saw some beautiful fall colors on the mountains.
We live in a pretty part of the world!
The colors were stunning with the sun on them!
This is the Bear River - jut outside of Grace.
Dad fished for only a little bit - said he caught a lot of moss! He only had lures and said this needed flies - he will probably go back. I read a book while he fished ... perfect.
"Dead Skunk in the middle of the road" - find that song on google and listen - Sophie and Grace and I laughed at it in June when we visited NC.
Close up for Auntie Emilee! ... just like the song says: "stinking to High Heaven!"
Dad wanted me in a picture - I could have passed on that ... but it was his birthday!
See that old water flow wooden pipe in the background? That was built in 1902 - and brought water to both sides of the valley - so they could raise crops.
Look who came to visit? Wonderful Amy Mortensen! She had business in Pocatello so came from Twin Falls - and we were so happy to have her visit for a couple hours - fun catching up on their family happenings.
