Monday - Memorial Day, May 30th - We drove a little over an hour to a Mormon Pioneer Ghost Town - Chesterfield, Idaho. It was settled in 1881 - located on the old Oregon Trial, between Soda Springs and Fort Hall. Here is Dad looking at the Map - showing were the old buildings are located. It was a beautiful day - little windy but nice.
This is an old peddle sewing machine - they had a display of them in the Amusement Hall.
This is a lady teaching a little boy to sew with the hand crank machine - I need both of my hands to guide the fabric.
I liked this sign - ha ha!
Quilts on the walls.
Love the pretty colors and the hand stitching.
Sun Bonnet Sue quilt!
Dad in line to get our lunch - figured we would support the local restoration efforts.
