Sewing Time

I had a beginning kit so Olivia learned how to do simple embordery while we sewed sunbonnets for Lindsey's stake Trek this summer.
Olivia was so happy and proud of herself - it was really cute to listen to her chatter. She learned really well also - I was surprised - never tried to teach a four year old - usually start at five.
Lindsey brought her machine and Dad said we turned our dining room into a 'sweat shop'!!
Here is Georgia and Sadie entertaining themselves while we sewed and ironed and sewed some more.
We made 10 of these 'bandana' bonnets, and 18 others plus three aprons to match.  Lindsey asked her RS to donate fabric and some pieces had enough left after the bonnet to make a matching apron.
Olivia at her sewing post - at the counter.  It was really great to complete a service project with people we love so much.
