Leaving Pocatello

Thursday, June 29, we were blessed to have neighbors and friends help us load the U-Haul truck.  Grant and James Bodily, David Housley,  Jesse Rose and Debbie's grandson Mark.
We sure appreciate all who came to help out - Polly came up to help me clean, Debbie next door, mowed the lawn!  We closed on the house and moved to Pleasant Grove the next day, June 30th.
Jude Burk came over to give me a 'going away gift' - sweet friend - we have been Visiting Teaching partners for a year and a half ... and had many adventures - even had one of our sisters not answer the door or calls, noting newspapers piled on her porch - we called the Bishop who had Bro. Scow - Idaho State Trooper - who found her deceased!
So happy to have wonderful people in our lives - Idaho has been good to us - April 2014 - June 2017.

Bunkbeds, flowers and shade!

With child number five here - the girls are sharing a room with two bunkbeds - look familiar to anyone?  It is so much fun to share rooms!
In Pleasant Grove on the way to Polly's house - we found these wonderful hollyhocks - such a pretty sight - remember making hollyhock dolls with my Mom, and daughters!
Closer look at the pretty flowers.
Olivia said she could lay down in the shade of their tree ... and then she did it!  funny girl!

Fun with the Fairbanks

The best way to help Lindsey and Tait was to take the girls to the park!  We did several fun things - this is at the Springville Splash Pad.
It was a hot summer day and we loved getting wet in the cool water.
Fun, fun for all!  ...note the little boy in the background drinking the water!!
Fun on the Trampoline - loved the girls in the air!
 More fun.
Almost all the girls in the air!!

Robert Tait Fairbanks joins the family!

Robert Tait Fairbanks, 5 days old!  What a precious gift from heaven he is to our family.
Beautiful, beautiful boy!  and his four older sisters are thrilled with him!
 Grandpa and Tait getting acquainted!
Cute big sisters - all such good helpers.
This little boy will not suffer from lack of attention!  notice the tatoo's on Georgia's arms - all the girls got them when Mom was in the hospital - courtesy of Dad!!

Being of Service!

We drove to Utah to meet our newest grandson, and take Emilee and boys to the Salt Lake Airport.  Polly let them use her car while they were in Utah so we met at her house - she has been working hard on redoing their front door - looks great!
Talus and Baden making words on her dishwasher!  Eli and Isaac wanted to ride to Salt Lake with us ... spending as much time as possible with their cousins.
Soon as we got out of the cars - Talus dropped down on the grass and rolled around - apparently they don't have soft grass in Virginia!  Polly and Chris worked all last summer to get the front yard in so it is nice to enjoy it!
Saying goodbye at the airport - sure loved spending some time together.

Senior FHE - Pocatello, Idaho

This is our Senior Family Home Evening group in Pocatello, Idaho we met once a month on a Monday evening - June 19th, 2017 was our last one.  We learned about gospel topics and had wonderful treats!  Back row: us, Burtons, Lambsons, Leslies's Young's, and in front Dorsey's - wonderful people and friends.

The Grand Children

Lindsey came up Friday for a few hours - and brought the darling Fairbanks grand daughters.  Here are 15 wonderful grand children - Joel was at Scout Camp all week.  We are so blessed!
Lindsey was teasing and said - Tait can be in the picture!!  Made us all laugh!
The kids making more bead necklaces and bracelets - pretty crafty!
 Grandma jumping on the trampoline!
Jennie brought yummy things for our Somores - Reese cups, sprinkles, etc.

Sophie playing her Uke - all of us singing "You are my Sunshine" - so much fun for all - wish all of us could be together.
