My birthday chocolate cheesecake - 71 years - still kicking! I noticed that the July quilt is still in the background - I changed it to August!
Scout Mountain Campground - nice to be in the wonderful mountains.
Dad eating our good foil dinners - elk burger - thanks to Stan!
Our campsite - for a few hours.
On the way home from the mountains - Dad wanted to stop at Tastee Freeze - a local place. These are their 'small' swirl cones - just about all we could eat! It was a Happy Birthday!

Back to Bozeman!
When we got back to Bozeman - Dad was happy to show us the beautiful rainbow trout that he caught in the Gallatin River - 14 - 16 inches - yummy!
Pretty fish, huh?
Julie's Aunt Jenny flew in from Minnesota - she is Julie's Mother's youngest sister - - she sure was happy to meet Thia.
Stan and Julie has this giant Hollyhock - ten feet tall - in celebration of Thia I think!!

Visit with Mortensen's!
We had about an hour after Julie's presentation on Tuesday -before she needed to be back...so we drove across town and visited Lynelle and family. Janice and Wayne were there also - always great to be with family. As soon as we pulled up - Tommy came out of the house and asked if he could hold Thia - sweet boy.
Course Amy wanted to also!
Thia was very cooperative!
The rest of us - except Julie.
Troy came home for lunch - so we have a picture with Julie in it! Good to see them and 'show off' both Julie and Thia!!

Arriving at the conference - our hotel was just across a field from the high school.
The harness on Thia's car seat is almost as big as she is!!
Days Inn - Great Falls - very comfortable.
Automatic timer - my arms aren't long enough for 'selfies'.
Julie's presentation on Tuesday morning - in the gym! lots of people there!
Julie presenting, Thia sleeping - she was so good the whole time.
Some of the participants got out on the floor so Julie could demonstrate how she runs her Adaptive PE Program.
Julie taught all of us a simple - really fun - game.

Sweet Thia
Sunday after Church we drove to Bozeman -- to pick up Julie and Thia and go to Great Falls. Julie's state conference was there - Monday and Tuesday. Julie received an award and gave two presentations. Arriving at their house - we found sweet Thia on her play mat sleeping! Isn't she pretty?
We brought her these pink play balls --- it will be a while before she can play with them!
Fun binky holder - she likes it!
Even prettier when her big blue eyes are open!!

Eugene, Oregon and the Boise Temple
Our house at 2644 Hastings, Eugene, Oregon - changed a lot!
Sweet Baby Emilee - and siblings in front of the house.
This is the house at 280 Wedgewood - up the street from Newells - can you imagine the black lab sitting on the roof? I man knocked on the door and told me there was a black dog on the roof!
The Boise Temple - July 26, 2016 - it was neat to attend again - we lived in Boise from 2002 - 2004 and went often with Grandma Phyllis.
This is a picture of the Boise Temple Openhouse - 1984 - the trees sure have grown tall!
We drove from Ellensburg to the Openhouse - course we had Grandpa and Grandma to stay with - good beds and great food! During the walk through the temple, we were not supposed to talk and ask questions - that was later. After we were all finished - three year old Heather asked: Where was Jesus? She knew it was the House of the Lord, probably thought Jesus would be there to greet us!!
