Heather's kids come to play

 Heather drove Maddie to the Air Port on Wednesday afternoon ... she brought Isaac, Keenyn, Briella and their cousin David to Lindsey's house so she could accompany Maddie to the gate to board the plane.  We sure enjoyed being around this beautiful young woman - Heather said she didn't want to let her go home!  ...Maddie said she talked to her Mom and Emily was anxious to have her come home!  Four more years and she will probably leave to go to school somewhere.  She told us she and her friend want to go to BYU-I and find a Mormon Cowboy!! Funny girl!

 Georgia and Briella were so cute playing together - here they are 'cooking dinner'  - Briella told me that the oven was hot! See the tent in the background?  Anna, Olivia, Sadie and I all slept there Tuesday night - it was fun to camp out in the back yard.

Corndog and soup dinner for all the kids - only nine of them!  They are all good kids, didn't have any problems.

Seven Peaks with Cousins

 On Tuesday, June 3rd, we went to Seven Peaks - thanks to Aunt Polly and Uncle Chris! Here are the Fairbanks girls with cousin Annabelle - she took good care of everybody.

 Having fun!  It was a little overcast but warm - mid 80's - Heather said it was the least crowded she had ever seen it.

It was such fun to be with cousins in a fun place - I told everyone that Stan and Kurt used to work there when they were teenagers...it has improved over the years.

Our Trip to Provo, June 2015

 On Monday, June 1st, we drove to Provo - Joel and Anna came with us - here they are at a Hawaiian Ice Stand in downtown Provo - we had taken some old negatives that Dad found in a box to Allen's Camera to get them scanned so we can print them.

 For FHE we met the Williams and Kroeber's at Timpview Park - everyone brought food and we had a great time - soon we can all be doing this!!

 Maddie was in Utah for EFY at BYU .. plus she got to visit her Aunt's in Logan, and American Fork.  It was such fun to have the cousins together - July is going to be awesome! Eli was at 5th Grade Camp all week so we missed having him - certain he was having a great time, though.

 Anna was a big help with the little girls - We stayed at Lindsey and Dan's while Linds went to Youth Conference, June 2 - 3 and then had work meetings in Salt Lake the morning of  June 4th.

Wonderful Baptism

 Remember the 16 year old young man who was baptized on May 2nd?  Here he is just about to baptize his father - May 30th...so awesome.  The father listened in on a couple of lessons and had lots of questions.  The Elders were very happy to answer all his questions.

 Dad as Ward Mission Leader was very organized and efficient in ward mission work - after a couple of years of having no convert baptisms, now we have had two!

This is Mike's Mother - she was very pleasant at the baptism and our hope is that she will be baptized by her son in another couple of months!  Very happy day!

Memorial Day 2015

Honoring Memorial Day - 2015 - Century High School Field of Heroes - Annual replica of National Cemetery's - a small cross or star of David for each lost life.  So sobering and gratitude inducing!

 We found some friends from our home ward - the Griffiths - she is a Special Ed teacher at one of the middle schools - he just finished a masters degree in computer security - they are expecting their first son in a week.

The just took a job in Washington, D.C. - US Dept. of Commerce - they will move there after the baby is born.  When Dad was Ward Mission leader, Kyle was the assistant - and still is!

Julie's Visit

 Friday May 22, after teaching school all day, Julie headed south to spend Memorial Day weekend visiting her family in Utah.  Her sister, brother-in-law and nephew will be there from Maine, for his brother's wedding.  It was such fun to have her even for a few hours overnight - she really likes her new ride - and it goes when she wants it to, plus the windows work, etc.  Not as good gas mileage as the old one - but getting good mileage when it doesn't run - not acceptable.

 Julie brought her cap and gown - since I forgot to get a picture when we went to Bozeman for MSU graduation - because we played instead of attending ... they ran out of her Master's Degree hood, but as you can tell - the sleeves of the robe are different.

What pretty daughter -in -laws we have!   This picture will go up on my Educational Wall of Fame!!

Sydney's new Apartment

 It was really fun to meet Sydney at her new Apartment Complex - thought I'd add a picture so the rest of you can recognize it when you go there!  Jordan will live in the complex in the fall.

 Sydney had just gotten back from a day teaching Outdoor Education at Badger Creek, Heidi and Jennie know where that is!   Her side of the room, she and her roommate have their own bathroom.

 Sydney and Grandpa in her new kitchen - there are three rooms, two girls each and laundry facilities in their apt.  One of the buildings is for Women and the other one is Men - sounds good!

We were happy to take Sydney out to dinner at Applebee's - she's such a talker - don't know where she gets that wonderful trait, huh?  Good food, great company!
