Pres. and Sister Hendricks Mission Reunion

Sunday July 3rd, we had a mini JKM reunion - here are the missionaries and wives and Pres and Sister Hendricks.  We had it at the Edgemont Fourth Ward Building - fun!
Sister Hendricks bore her great testimony - then Pres. Hendricks gave us a wonderful Zone Conference Fireside talk - it was a lovely evening.  Those elders who are still single had to sit on the floor!!  Sister Pat Apgood was the only other senior missionary who came.
Conner Tracy, Pres and Sister Hendricks, Sister Apgood and us - wonderful memories with these great people.
Elder Romney, wife and baby - Zion is growing!!
Elder Montgomery and Elder Nugent - Elder's Nugent's grandfather was the first native Jamaican baptized in the 60's - lives in Mapleton.
Yummy goodies I made for the refreshments - brownies, pumpkin bars, cheery cheesecake, 7 layer cookies and toffee.

Judge Dave Dillon's retirement party.

Wednesday afternoon we were happy to attend the Retirement Party for Dave Dillon - he has worked at the Family Domestic Court in Davis Country for 21 years.  Here are his five clerk's during those years - singing a fun song about him.  There were so many wonderful things said about Dave and his work ethic, patience, concern for the children in the families he had contact with, etc.
The Old Professor and the Judge!!  We only lived in Carbondale, Illinois for two years - and now feel like we went there so Dave could have contact with our family and join the Church.

Wheeler Farm Visit

On Wednesday, June 29th - we took the oldest girls to Wheeler Farms - here they are on the wooden sleigh - aren't they cute?
Cute Grandpa with the girls on the hay truck!
Isn't that a great old truck?
Two baby goats- we reached through the wire fence and tickled their backs!
Tom Turkey - I said we would eat him for Thanksgiving and the girls were horrified!
Ducks and geese in the pond.
Yummy Otter Pops at the creamery store.
Beautiful flowers - planted especially to attract butterflies - we saw several.
