Talus's Kindergarten Program

Beautiful Hydranga (sp) plant outside Pike's front door - one on the other side of the porch also, but this one was blooming better.

Tal's Kindergarten Program - four classes all together - school music teachers are great! Tal is just to the left of the middle on the top row.

 Pretty multi-cultural event - love it!  The Program was about going to bed - and all the kids wore their pajamas!

Indian and Colonists park in VA

 Outside of Richmond, Virginia there is this old Indian village/Colonial settlers place...can't remember the name but it is very old and had a fishing lake next to it.  It cost money to go in so we just looked around outside.

The had cannons to protect the James River - and this one broke!  Baden showing us where the cannon ball would come out.  Fun morning - fishing wasn't that great but pretty scenery.

Sophie's Art for Teachers

 Sophie made this great art work for three of her favorite teachers - the S is the initial of the teacher's last name - she saw the idea online - glue crayons and use a blow dryer to melt them.

 Luke and Noah at their Third Grade Award Assembly - in the 100+ year old gym at Summerfield Elementary School.  They both got Honor "A"'s - and honor roll all year.

Luke getting his - he wore his red shirt on the bus in the morning, but had a nose bleed so Jennie brought him another one for the assembly.

The Hardy's garden - huge and growing great!!  First tomatoes picked a couple days after we left!

Sophie and Grace's school concert

 On Tuesday, we flew into Greensboro and enjoyed Sophie and Grace's school concert that evening.  Here is Sophie singing so well in the 6th Grade chorus.

 The whole 6th Grade chorus - 7th grade is sitting next to them - they sang later, then 8th grade.  All sounded great - school music teachers rock!

 Grace is in there somewhere!  She was hard to find - but the 6th grade Orchestra sounded good!

 Jennie said the music teachers had four designs of shirts and let the students vote - the boys choose the purple camo!  not the girls first choice.  On the back it says - Band, Chorus and Orchestra.

 Jason was out of town working in PA - it is such fun to be around the Hardy's - and any family at any time for anything!

 We stopped for frozen yogurt on the way home to celebrate!  yummy!  You go down a line of machines and get your choice of yogurt - then toppings - then pay by the ounce for it - notice Dad's in the lower right hand corner.

Just had to share the price of gas in Greensboro!  Yikes - we paid 2.50 in Poky!!

FHE at the Park

Monday, June 6, we were so happy to have FHE at the Park with the Williams, Kroebers and Fairbanks!

 On our way to Salt Lake to fly to NC we stopped in Hyrum - Kate and Annabelle dyed these cute shirts - cute shirts and beautiful women!!!

 The iris flowers at our house in Pocatello have never bloomed until this year - sorry about the sideways picture but they are so pretty I wanted all to see them.

Joel and the Logan Temple

 Sorry about the side view - Friday June 3rd we took Joel to the Logan Temple and he did the baptism for a relative on Dad's side - Polly found the game and it was great for Joel to do it.  After the one family name - the temple workers had him do 20 more!!

 Annabelle and friends now have balloon babies!  What silly girls!!

We are blessed with wonderful grand children - and they are getting so big!
