Southern Utah Half Marathon - 13.1

The wind was blowing hard - but we wanted a picture with this lovely English Teacher!!
Waiting at the 9 mile mark to cheer on the runners - especially Lindsey.
Here she comes!  Don't know why the picture is turned - Lindsey has a white hat, blue shirt and black pants.
Olivia was so happy and wanted to give her a high five!
 She did it!

Finish strong!  Lindsey wanted to run around 2 hours - and ended up 1 hour 54 minutes or so!!  great job!
Next year Jennie and Heather are planning on running - and maybe Sydney!  What a great group!
Happy Race is over!!  We left to drive back to Pocatello,  the rest stayed and played some more.  The house has a swimming pool - and it was around 80 - 85 degrees!

More St. George Fun!

Sydney came up from Las Vegas after she finished teaching school - we all headed to Pizza Pie Cafe for a yummy dinner.
The Cafe was in the Mall - so we had people looking at us the whole time - and we looked at them!!
 So much fun!
These are our good friends - Fred and Laurel Leavitt - they lived in our ward in CA and moved to St. George after retiring...sweet wonderful people.  They are serving a Church Service mission helping transients that come through St. George - they have them work at D.I. to earn some help!!
There was a game room - this air hockey table, a Pool table and Fooseball!  kids had fun!
The kitchen Saturday morning - Lindsey left really early to run - we are just getting breakfast and then we'll go down and cheer for her!!!

St. George Fun!

This is the great view of St. George from the balcony of the house that Dan's friend let them use.  See the temple in the middle of the valley?  Beautiful!
Jumping on the Trampoline - different kind - sideways spring things.
Fun to play with grandkids ... Keenyn told me:  "I accidently threw a rock at Briella."  - I asked: Did she cry?  Yes he said and we talked about NOT doing that again!
Play ground - the kids kept calling it a Park.
Gas firepit in the yard.. I guess you can roast marshmallows?
Basketball court and tennis - plus shuffleboard and Hop Scotch!!  Glass backboards on the BBall court.

Roofing and the Temple

Mike, Michelle and Dan Fairbanks, plus Chris Williams finishing up on the roofing project!
Nice when family can help with all the hard work!
We attended the St. George temple for a session - Friday around noon...wonderful time.
The wind was blowing - other than that it was a beautiful gay.
Another picture...nice to remember our pioneer brothers and sisters - temple dedicated in 1877!
We couldn't get over the roses in bloom everywhere!  Much warmer there than in Idaho!

Soccer Games - Provo

Thursday we drove to Provo - got there in time to watch Heather coach Keenyn and Olivia's soccer game - the other coach is the pregnant lady in the black jumper!
Isn't this a beautiful site to play soccer in?
Olivia and Keenyn did real well - and the treats after the game are always a bit deal!
Don't know why the picture is sideways so I tried again - same results!
Sadie's game was after the older kids - she is number 3 and so cute!

More fun at Fairbanks

After Olivia and Kaden went to school - we visited Kroeber's and the cousins had fun playing.
Here are all 5 grand children - Kroeber's have a great play room.
Next the had a great time in the play house - cousins are lots of fun.
Pretty tulips and daffodils at Fairbanks house.
Olivia drew this 'temple' on the sidewalk - she said the people are going in to get married.
Sadie built this 'temple' on the top of the freezer when we played in the garage ... see the gold fish on top - she said that was Angel Moroni.
Georgia wanted her picture taken also - and I love doing that!
Sweet Millie - she had a cold and wasn't feeling very well and was teething - but so precious anyway.
Georgia 'driving' the car!  The weather was beautiful and we played outside most of the afternoon.

Provo visit - April 11th, 2016

Sunday evening we drove to Provo - Dan and Lindsey have a great Bed and Breakfast!  Lindsey had faculty meetings all day on Monday - so we got to stay with the girls.  I brought some Easter suckers - Olivia's stick came off!  Millie loved it and got all sticky!
Finger painting at the kitchen table.  The chair thing for Millie - Lindsey has on the counter but I feel safer with it on the floor!  I did use it up high so she can see what is going on.
Olivia really likes to wear these glasses - with no lenses in them.  She calls them her Harry Potter glasses!
Tuck the dog in the back yard - Kaden the boy in the picture is in Olivia's class - and Lindsey tends him in the morning - the he goes to school after lunch with Olivia.
