Friends from Lewistown

Some good friends from Lewistown, MT came to Dillon - the Shobe family.  Kyle is the announcer at the rodeo and his family has a fifth wheel and come along during the summer months.  This is two year old Tessa - she loves horses!
Jodie, the Mom, said she has to really watch her - that she goes right in the corral with the horses.  She was so cute - trying to reach both arms through the rails to give the horse's nose a hug!
Cutest family - Kyle and Jodie, McKay - oldest son, Hadlee, 4 year old daughter - her shirt said: I make dirt look good!  then the baby Tessa - playing with the punch balls.
More of the Shobe family - Brother Shobe is the Elder's Quorum Pres. in Lewistown, Jodie is the Beehive Advisor and 2nd counselor in YW.  So much fun to spend a few minutes with them.

Patagonia Sale

It was traditional for many years to go to Dillon Labor Day weekend - Parade, Rodeo, County Fair and the Patagonia Sale!  I told a couple of daughters that I would go for them ... didn't buy much but it was fun.
Dad thought it was awful - and that he had never gone before - we figured out that he was probably out fishing with Stefan on the river instead!
Missed all of you - pretty steep prices even with 40% off!
Leaving downtown for the fair grounds we had two large sandhill cranes fly over - calling to each other.
Kids on horses at the fairgrounds.

Labor Day - Dillon, MT

On Friday, August 29th, we drove to Idaho Falls and enjoyed a sealing session in the temple.
The flowers outside the front door of the temple were so pretty!
We continued north to Dillon, MT for an overnight trip.  We stayed at the old Super 8 - changed name to something Inn - anyway - this poor mule deer in the lobby of the motel had philodrom growing all over him!

More Mission Fireside

Elder Gray is engaged! - lucky girl.  Elder Nugent's from Mapleton and went to Springville High School - some of our favorite elders - the all are our favorites!
Paul and Shirleen Daniels - they had a 50th year high school reunion in Tooele, a niece got married and then this mission fireside... plenty of events to come up from Mesa for! - they trained us as the office couple and they let us stay at their apartment when we had to stay overnight in Kingston - love them!
Sister Havili and her cute new husband - we were able to attend both their receptions - Utah and Idaho!
President Scott and Sister Marian Hendricks - she introduced us to some of their family.  They had seven grandchildren born the three years they served in Jamaica.  We got to meet four of the seven babies!  Pres. gave a wonderful Fireside talk - it was only an hour - it could have been four for me!  He spoke of our hands being the Savior's - and He needs:  Clean hands, loving hands, ready hands.  He gave stories and scriptures for each category - wonderful talk!  So loved being with them for a short time.  The Relief Society room was full of love and the spirit of Christ.
